Everything you need to know before your wedding day

The Weeks Before

The glow you see on our brides starts weeks before we ever pick up a brush. Skin prep is everything.

Beautiful Makeup Begins with Beautiful Skin

The foundation of flawless bridal makeup isn't found in a makeup bag—it's healthy, hydrated skin.

The months leading up to your wedding are the perfect time to establish a consistent skincare routine that supports radiant, long-lasting makeup and beautiful photography.

We Recommend:
  • Establish a simple skincare routine several months before your wedding.
  • Cleanse, moisturize, and wear SPF daily.
  • Schedule hydrating facials every 4–6 weeks leading up to your wedding.
  • Gently exfoliate 1–2 times per week.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Prioritize quality sleep in the weeks leading up to your wedding.
  • Avoid introducing new skincare products or treatments within two weeks of your wedding.

Our favorite bridal beauty secret? Healthy, hydrated skin always photographs beautifully.

The Trial

the perfect opportunity to bring your vision to life and make sure every detail feels just right.

One of the best investments you can make before your wedding day is scheduling a bridal beauty trial. This appointment allows us to get to know you, refine every detail, and create a look that feels authentically you.

Before Your Trial:
  • Schedule your trial 3–5 months before your wedding.
  • Arrive with clean, moisturized skin.
  • Wash and fully dry your hair before your appointment unless you're planning on having a blowout.
  • Bring inspiration photos for both hair and makeup.
  • Bring a photo of your wedding dress.
  • Bring any hair accessories you'd like to try.

Don't Be Afraid to Speak Up Your beauty trial is a collaboration. If you'd like to soften an eye, add more volume, adjust your lip color, or simply try something different, we encourage you to let us know. Our goal isn't simply to create a beautiful look—it's to create your perfect bridal look.

Every product we reach for on a wedding morning has been thoughtfully curated in our ShopMy collection. From skincare and foundation to lip colors, hair products, and finishing sprays, you'll find the exact products we love and use on our brides.

SHOULD I WASH MY HAIR THE NIGHT BEFORE? +

Yes! Freshly washed hair works beautifully for most styles. If your stylist recommends something different based on your hair type, we'll let you know.

SHOULD I WEAR MOISTURIZER? +

Yes! Your regular moisturizer is encouraged and helps create a beautiful makeup application.

CAN I WEAR SUNSCREEN? +

Absolutely. We recommend avoiding mineral-based sunscreens on your wedding day, as they can sometimes create flashbacks in professional photography, making the skin appear lighter than the rest of your body.

That's completely normal! Bring a few inspiration photos, and we'll help you choose a style that complements your dress, face shape, hair type, and overall wedding aesthetic.

CAN YOU STYLE MY EXTENSIONS? +
